She was a homemaker and retired in 1987 from Delco Electronics in Kokomo where she served for over 30 years.
She was a member of Honey Creek Missionary Baptist Church, Russiaville, and United Auto Workers Local 292.
She enjoyed painting, crocheting, fishing, playing cards and calling bingo.
She is survived by one son, Brian Offutt and wife Theresa, Peru; two daughters, Diana Stacey and husband Bill, Lakeland, Fla., and Debbie Hollingsworth and husband Lloyd, Atlanta, Ind.; one son-in-law, Lemon Hale, Russiaville; grandchildren, Danny Offutt Jr., Tennessee, Schawna Adkins, Oklahoma, Ronnie Dennis and wife Grace, Kokomo, Lacey Goodrum and husband Donnie, Tennessee, Mike Hale and wife Karri, Indiana, Ben and Scott Offutt, Wisconsin, David Swails and Lori Swails, Washington, Amanda Navarro, Kim Swails and Matthew Swails, all of Washington, Brittany Burkett, Seaira Burkett and Kassandra Burkett, all of Peru, Armandy Stacey, Becci Stacey and Andrew Stacey, all of Lakeland, Fla.; 27 great-grandchildren; one sister, Ruth Ann Ring and husband John, Kokomo; and one brother Gene Taylor, Oregon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, Danny Offutt; one daughter, Judy Hale; one grandchild; one great-grandchild; a sister, and five brothers.
Funeral services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Honey Creek Missionary Baptist Church, 250 Nashville St., Russiaville, with Pastor Lehmon Hale officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery. Calling will be 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
