Tuesday September 13, 1938

KRUM--Louis Krum, 85, died this
morning at the home of his daughter,
Mrs. Charles Peters, 92 Walter
Avenue. Born in Germany, Mr.
Krum had resided in the Tonawandas
for the past 80 years. He
was a member of the North Tonawanda
Labor association. He
leaving two sons, Edward, North
Tonawanda, and Louis, Rouse's
Point, N. Y.; two daughters, Mrs. Charles
Peters and Mrs. John Connelly,
Morris Plains, N. J.; five grandchildren
and five great-grandchildren.
Rites will be held Thursday
afternoon at 2:30 from the
Peter's residence. The Rev. John
H. Sprock will officiate, and burial
will be In Elmlawn.



Ludwig Wilhelm Johannes Krumm legally changed his named to Louis Krum on June 18, 1886 and had it recorded in the Salem Evangelical Church Records. It is also noted that Ludwig Wilhelm Johannes Krumm, Jr.'s name was also changed at that same time.
