Aimee Adell Boone, 97,died Monday in El Paso, Texas. She was born June 14, 1899, in Highland, Ill., to George and Angelique Vulliet. She had been a homemaker. She is survived by sons, Ralph Boone and wife, Betty, and Howard Boone and wife, Joy, all of Anthony; daughters, Doris Russell and husband, Chester, of Anthony, and Marilyn Coffman and husband, Bill, of Harlingen, Texas; and brother, George Vulliet, and wife, Ila, of San Diego. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Arvif Boone, and a daughter, Billie Jo Kienholz. Visitation will he held from 4-6 p.m. today at Getz Funeral Home in Las Cruces. Funeral services will he held at 10 am. Saturday, also at Getz Funeral Home, with the Rev. Rick Kienholz and Yates Folk officiating. A graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. at Memory Lane Cemetery in Silver City. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. In lieu of flowers, may be made to the Church of Christ, Anthony, Texas or to a charity of choice Arrangements are by Gietz Funeral Home of Las Cruces.
