Charles Levi Street was a California pioneer, he crossed the US with his wife & son during the California Gold Rush. Charles & his family settled in beautiful Sonora, Tuolumne County, California. Charles became a practicing attorney and Judge, moving to Washington DC when his son Harlow Levi Street, a Civil War soldier, accepted a position with the US Gov. War Department in Washington DC.
