Mr. Whatley was born Dec. 11, 1921, in Dallas. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors: Wife, Ann Whatley of Fort Worth; two sons, Raymond Whatley of Weatherford and Ronald Edward Whatley of Fort Worth; one daughter, Lenita Auvenshine of Joshua; two step-children, Cathy Thayer of Southlake and Barry McLain of Fort Worth; two sisters, Juanita Rzepniewski of Fort Worth and Ruth Ann Whatley of Springtown; 10 grandchldren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous loved ones and friends.
