Blanche Frances Stotts Edwards -82 She passed into the arms of her loving Lord on September 7, 1973 in a local nursing home.

Blanche was born to John and Rosa Belle (Copeland) Stotts, on Feb. 24, 1891 at Fairbury, Jefferson County, Nebraska.

She meant & married Elzie C. Edwards on June 2, 1909 in Alma, Harlan County, Nebraska . To this union 4 children were born, Gwynn, Darrel, Verlene (baby girl lived for one month) who is buried in Nebraska and Jewel Edwards. The family moved out to Washington state, making their way out here here in two old Maxwell cars, and later they divorced.

Blanche put herself though nursing school, when she was in her 50's and became a nurse, working at a couple of Everett, Washington hospitals, she bought and owned her own home. She worked for a time, at the Big Four Inn, out of Granite Falls, Snohmish County, Washington. She became a born again Catholic.

Blanche loved to work in her yard and watch her garden grow and she loved being with her family at Christmas time. She wrote poetry, and later, I made a book of those.

She loved her family and all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She married again to James A. Morgan of Marysville, Snohmish County, Washington, which also ended in divorce.

She ran a boarding house during the WW2 and meant the love of her life William T. McGirk, they were together till his death.

Blanche was buried in the Evergreen Cemetery in Everett, Snohmish County,Washington, a spot she picked out herself, saying she had a view of her mountains. The picture above, Blanche is the baby, on her Mother's lap. Love Ya Grandma. JYM
