Survivors include one son, Joe and his wife, Gwen; three daughters, Mildred, Willie Mae and Frances; sister, Lizzie Belle; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Mr. Gilstrap was predeceased by his parents; his wife, a daughter, Ruth; and brothers, Benson, Wade, Pickens, Joab and Jesse.
