Ryan was born on May 16, 1991, in San Angelo, Texas, in Shannon Hospital to Matt and Sheryl Dye Lankford. He graduated from Monterey High School in Lubbock in 2009. Ryan's greatest love was his family and friends. He loved everything Texas Tech and loved all sports. He loved life and had a strong Christian Faith.
Ryan was preceded in death by his grandmother, Martha Lankford; and great-uncle Marion Shirley, both of San Angelo.
He is survived by his father, Matt Dean Lankford of San Angelo; mother Sheryl Denise Lankford of Lubbock, Texas; brother Brandon Dean Lankford of San Angelo; grandfather Willie Lankford, of San Angelo; uncles Clifford Lankford and wife Sherry of Fort Worth, Texas, Allen Lankford of Dallas, Texas, David Lankford and wife Sharon of San Angelo and Terry Lankford and wife Vicky of Dallas, Texas; aunt Lori Lankford of Dallas, Texas; girlfriend Kaiti Fuller of Lubbock, Texas; grandmother Marcia Dye of San Angelo; aunts Lori Dye of Lubbock, Texas and Yvonne Shirley of San Angelo; and a multitude of cousins and friends.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 18, 2011, in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
