Funeral services for Mrs. Naomi D. Watson, 86 of Mexia will be 1 p.m. Monday, April 9, 2007 in Blair – Stubbs Chapel. Rev. James Hooper will officiate with interment following in the Lost Prairie Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be 5 – 7 p.m. on Sunday night at the funeral home.

Mrs. Watson was born April 30, 1920 in Lost Prairie to James Henry and Jewel Faye Pittiman Dossey and passed away on April 7, 2007 in a nursing home in Corsicana. She worked at the Mexia Textile Mill and retired from the Mexia State School after 20 years. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Mexia.

Survivors are her children: James Raymond Watson and wife, Delores, of Mexia; Frances Kyle and husband, Delbert Kyle, Sr. of Mexia; Jerry Watson and wife, Kathy of Fairfield and Joe Wayne Watson and wife, Paula of Corsicana; grandchildren: Wanda Winkler, Delbert Kyle, Jr., Lisa Kyle, Shirley Thornton, Brian Kyle, Jason Watson, Dalton Watson, Monica Marler, Dena Watson, Brandy Scroggins, James Watson, Lynda Cates, Christie Smith , Jerry Watson, Jr. and Jennifer Miller, 29 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren: and Sister, Dorothy Henderson of Mexia.

Pall bearers will be grandsons: James Henry Watson, Brian Kyle, Jason Watson, Jerry Watson, Jr., Delbert Kyle, Jr. and great grandson: Chris Winkler.
