COLORADO CITY ~~ James H. Wiggins, 76, long time resident of Mitchell and Scurry counties died Wednesday in Root Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
Funeral will be held at 4:30 p.m. Friday in Kiker and Son Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Neal Rogers, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Colorado City Cemetery.
Born June 15, 1889 in Brown County, he married Clara Ella Rundell August 17, 1909 in Comanche County. They came to Scurry County in 1923 and moved to Mitchell County in 1946. He was a retired farmer and a member of Austin Street Baptist Church. Mrs. Wiggins died in October 1963.
Survivors are four sons, E. N. of Snyder, W. H. of Everett, Washington, C. P. and Jesse, both of Colorado City; two daughters, Mrs. C. J. Brown of Big Spring and Mrs. L. A. Rollins of Odessa; one sister, Mrs. L. D. Robertson of Colorado City; and 15 grandchildren.
