Harlon Lacy was the son of Jasper Watson (Jack) Lacy and Hettie Webb Lacy. He grew up in the Cross Plains area. He married Marjorie Lynn Brown on May 8 1937 in Rising Star. He and Marjorie ran a country store/gas station for several years near the Dressy Commnunity. In 1951 they moved to Dallas, living there until 1983, when they retired to Cisco, Texas. He was a member of the church of Christ, serving as an elder for many years.
