Jasper Watson Lacy, always called Jack, was the son of Robert Franklin Lacy and Caledonia D. Grimmett Lacy (see Liberty Cemetery, Eastland County, Texas). He was the only child to survive to adulthood. He lived in the area of Calico Rock, Izard County, Arkansas as a child, moving to Texas as a young man. He married Hettie Webb August 4, 1912. He was the father of Harlon Howard Lacy, Lenora Marie Lacy Newton and Jack Webb Lacy. He was a bookkeeper by profession. He was a member of the church of Christ, serving as an elder for many years.
