GRAND COTEAU - Funeral services for Mr. Paul Roosevelt Boudreaux, 76, will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Charles Borromeo Roman Catholic Church with burial in the St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. Dave Andrus, pastor of St. Charles Borromeo Roman Catholic Church. Musical selections by Rendell James will include: "Amazing Grace," "J'irai La Voir UnJour," "Soon and Very Soon," "This is the Day the Lord Has Made," "One Bread, One Body," and "I Have Loved You."
Mr. Boudreaux, a native of Bristol, died at 9:50 p.m., Friday, December 29, 2000, at his residence in Sunset. Mr.
Boudreaux was owner of Boudreaux's Repair and Wrecker Service in Sunset for more than 50 years. He was a 1943 graduate of Sunset High School, a member of the Holy Name Society, Knights of Columbus and the Civil Air Patrol.
Survivors include: his loving wife of 56 years, Marie Elvie Alleman Boudreaux of Sunset; three sons, Gerald Boudreaux, Robert Boudreaux, and his wife, Melissa, and John Boudreaux, and his wife, Judy, all of Sunset; four daughters, Yvonne Boudreaux of Houston, Judy Edington, and her husband, Thomas, of Lafayette, Linda Porter, and her husband, Chuck, and Rita Theriot, and her husband, Walter, all of Sunset; a daughter-in-law, Mary Jo Mouton Boudreaux of Lafayette; a brother, Herman Boudreaux, and his wife Mary Lou, of Lafayette; a sister, Juanita Savoy of Lafayette; 17 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Mr. Boudreaux was preceded in death by his parents, Fermin Boudreaux Jr., and the former Regina Comeaux; three sons,
Paul Patrick Boudreaux, Llewelyn James Boudreaux and infant John Ray Boudreaux.
Pallbearers will be William Foux, Glenn Faul, Brian Faul, Ricky Boudreaux, Casey Boudreaux and Robbie Boudreaux. Honorary pallbearers will be Justin Boudreaux, Thomas Edington, Chuck Porter and Walter Theriot.
Melancon Funeral Home of Carencro was in charge of
