Mrs. Kee had been ill for two years. Following services in Lubbock, the body was brought to Olney by McCracken Funeral Home.
Last rites were conducted by Rev. Cort H. Flint, pastor of Olney First Baptist Church.
Born in Spring Creek, Throckmorton County, Texas, Mrs. Kee moved to Brownfield in 1928. She had lived in Lubbock since 1944.
Her nephews were the pallbearers.
Survived by her mother - Mrs. Sarah Abbott; two daughters - Mrs. Kyle Abbott of Seagraves and Mrs. Homer Tapp of Lubbock; son - J.D. Kee of Lubbock; five sisters - Mrs. W.R. Gannon of Spur, Mrs. R.N. Thomas of Van Neys, CA; Mrs. L.F. Simpson of Lubbock; Mrs. Virgil Heard of Olney, Mrs. Wesley Davis of Murray; four brothers - Luther Abbott and Oliver Abbott of Padgett, Arthur Abbott of Ray, NM; Oscar Abbott of Newcastle.
