Winlock, Washington ----- Winlock resident Leroy R. "Jack" McEwen, 90, died Monday, Feb, 13, at Providence Hospital in Centralia.

Born Nov. 13, 1904, at Indianola, Neb., he had been a resident of Winlock since 1953, coming from La Grande, Ore.

Survivors include his wife, Hazel, at home; three sons, Dale of Winlock, Milford of Chehalis, and Melvin of Fairbanks, Alaska; three step-sons, Paul Sturdevant of Longview, Dale Sturdevant of Napavine, and Peter Lewis of Centralia; two daughters, Donna Karvia of Chehalis, and Mildred Cardinal of Olympia; a step-daughter, Sally Bieker of Kennewick; a brother, Robert of Gresham, Ore.; three sisters, Maxine Brenner of Laird, Colo., and Beulah Soehner and Stella Bahler, both of Holyoke, Colo.; 18 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cattermole Funeral Home in Winlock.

A graveside service for Leroy R. "Jack" McEwen will begin at 11 a.m. Friday in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Chehalis.
