Carlton Lee Hendrick, 82, formerly of Meadowbrook Apartments, died Wednesday, Dec. 16, 1992 at Autumn Care Nursing Home in Altavista.
Born Jan. 30, 1910, in Campbell County, he was a son of the late John Robert and Dovie Reynolds Hendrick. He was retired from the maintenance department of Randolph-Mason Womans's College and was a member of the Christian church.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Ruth H. Creasy and is survived by his sister, Christine H. Monrote of Big Stone Gap; a number of nieces and nephews and a faithful brother-in-law, Vernon E. Creasy of Lynchburg.
A graveside service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel.
