Aunt Lucille (she detested her first name, Myrtle and quit using it during her school years) was a stunningly beautiful woman with a heart to match. She married her high-school sweetheart, Marlin Lewis Young in 1934, and they were married for 67 years. They had two children, Donald Irving and Julie Marlin Young. She was born the second of two children to Arthur Bell and Carrie James (Jane) Gibbs Denney.
An avid gardener, she was noted for her home-made chow chow (at least to me and my brother, Kevin).
She is survived by her sister, Lillian Bell Denney Mosteller Rogers (Lillian Bell died in 2005), her two children and her grandchildren.
