Enrique Andaverde, Sr. 65, of Dayton, died Wednesday, November 20, 2002 at the St. Luke's Hospital in Houston. He was a native of Mercedes, Texas, had lived in Dayton for the last 6 years, and was a retired self-employed truck driver and a member of the Catholic Church. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Sunday, November 24, 2002 at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Dayton with Pastor John Satherley officiating. Burial will follow at the Palms Memorial park in Dayton under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM, Saturday November 23, 2002 at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Dayton. He is survived by his Wife: Esperonza Andaverde of Dayton: Sons: Roberto Andaverde and his wife Adriana of Crosby, Mario Andaverde and his wife Rachel of Harlingen and Enrique Andaverde, Jr. of Dayton; Daughters: Gloria Andaverde of Dayton, Victoria Gonazlez and her husband Mario of Pasadena and Anita Leal of Pasadena; Grandchildren: Daniel Enrique Velasco, Angel Antonio Velasco, Erik Leal, Letizia Velasco, Cristal Gonzalez, Candi Gonzalez, Nicole Leal, Angelika Salas, Juan Mario Gonzalez, Nicolas Martinez, Jeremy Gonzalez and Robert Enrique Andaverde, Jr. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, Friday, November 22, 2002 at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home.
