Harold W. Delp, 48, father of 12 children and a resident of 401 Congress Drive, died suddenly at 4 a.m. today in the family home.

Born Sept. 28, 1910 in Knoxdale, he was the son of Jerry and Nanny Wolfe Delp.

At one time, Mr. Delp was a laborer for the local J. &. L. plant.

He was a member of the local PNA Club.

Besides his wife, the former Mary Elizabeth Knapp, Mr. Delp is survived by the following children: Harold Delp, Jr. of Cooperstown, Annetta Glass and Albert Delp of Oil City; Charles Delp with the U.S. Navy; Thomas, Joseph, Maxine, Darlene, Cathy, Susan, Michael and David Delp, all at home.

Also surviving Mr. Delp is his father who resides in Salem, Ohio; three brothers, Daniel and Louis Delp; also of Salem; Kenneth Delp of Brookville and five sisters, Emma of Ohio; Mrs. Effie Swonger, Warren; Mrs. Garace Hetrick, Brookville; Mrs. Richard Miller of Knoxdale; and Mrs. Gladys Knapp of Brookville; and 11 grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Charles A. Morrison Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements will be announced.
