Funeral services for Newton H. Walden, 67, of 1920 Morgan, who died at 7:15 p. m. yesterday in a local hospital after a brief illness, will be held at 2 p. m. tomorrow at Woodlawn Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Earl Price officiating. Burial will be in Seaside Memorial Park under direction of Clifford Jackson Funeral Home. Walden, a resident here 13 years, operated The House of Flowers. Survivors are his wife, Ruth; two sons, Ronald and Norwood, both of Corpus Christi; five sisters, Mrs. Charles Glenn, Mrs. May Long and Mrs. Clemmie Jackson, all of Austin, Mrs. Ollie Houlenfluke of Waco and Mrs. Stanley Millegan of Round Rock, and five brothers, Thomas, Elmer and Jim of Austin, Edgar of Round Rock and Dobs(?) of Houston.
