Seth graduated from Rockhurst High School in 2001. He attended Central Missouri State University briefly before enlisting in the United States Marine Corps in 2006 where he achieved the rank of Corporal. Seth served our country for four years including 9 months in Iraq, as well as time in South Korea and Okinawa, Japan. He was honorably discharged in December 2010.
He is survived by his mother, Melodie, his fiancee, Renee Hink, and his son, Carter Smith. He is also survived by his three brothers, Thomas and David Lockler, Jr. and Drew Smith, his step-father, David Lockler, Sr., his grandmother, Pat Smith, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kirk Smith, and grandparents, Allan Smith and Helen and Alex Malko.
Services in memorial of Seth will be held on Monday, April 11, at 8 p.m., at the New Apostolic Church, 83rd & Spring Valley Road, Raytown, MO 64138.
Seth will be interned at Fort Leavenworth
National Cemetery on Wednesday, April 13, at
10 a.m., in Leavenworth, KS.
