Daivd H. Owens, 50, died Friday, Oct. 22, 1999, at Palmetto Baptist Medical Center.
Born in Pickens County, he was a son of the late Edgar Houston and Selma Dodson Owens.
He was a veteran of the US Army and served in Vietnam.
Member of Liberty Baptist Church.
Survived by his wife, Nadine Ruth Medlock Owens; a son, Kevin D. Owens of Liberty; a daughter, Alison Sloan of Liberty; a brother, Wayne Owens of Pickens; five sisters, Virginia Duncan, Evelyn Harrison, and Irene Owens, all of Pickens, Ruth Reece of Easley, and Elaine Kelly of Pumpkintown; and five grandchildren.
Graveside service: 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct 24, at Liberty Memorial Gardens.
