COOPER - Nell Ann Oliver, 104, of Charleston passed away Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2007, at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital in Sulphur Springs.
Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, in Delta Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Regan officiating. Interment follows in Charleston Cemetery under the direction of Delta Funeral Home.
The family receives friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
She was born Feb. 24, 1903, in Charleston. She was the daughter of John Cornelius McGuyer and Jessie Mayo Helm McGuyer. She was a caretaker of many children. She married James Floyd Oliver and he preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by her sons, Jack C. Oliver and Joe D. Oliver; a daughter, James Helen "Lucy" Oliver and three sisters, Mattie Taylor, Della Westerman and Audrey Click.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Johnnie Oliver of Fort Worth; granddaughter, Gala Inman and husband, Wallace Inman; great-granddaughter, Shelley Inman; great-great-grandson, Hunter Criado and several nieces and nephews.
