"MCCURDY RITES
Willie Francis McCurdy, 84, Oklahoma City, formerly of Hobart and Gotebo, died Dec. 29 at Southern Oaks Nursing Home, Oklahoma City. Services were Dec. 31 at the Grace Assembly of God Church, Oklahoma City. Graveside rites were held Dec. 31 at Gotebo Cemetery.
Mrs. McCurdy was born Sept. 6, 1901, at Port, to James and Mattie Leatherwood. She lived in Hobart and Gotebo many years. She had spent the last two years in the nursing home in Oklahoma City.
Survivors include two sons, James T. "Boss" McCurdy, Choctaw and Don McCurdy, Oklahoma City; one daughter, Martha Ammons, Midwest City; 23 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.
Burial was directed by Peoples Funeral Home, Lone Wolf."
