Walter Eugene "Wally" Elliott, 46, of Abita Springs, LA, formerly of Lambert, died Tuesday, September 28, 1999, in Slidell, LA at Slidell Memorial Hospital of heart failure.
Services were Saturday, October 2, at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Lambert, where he was a member. Rev. Don O'Quinn officiated and burial was in Lambert Cemetery. Kimbro Funeral Home of Marks had charge of arrangements.
Born July 15, 1953, at Lambert to Margaret Elliott and the late Gene Respress Elliott, he was a musician and painter. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Cathy Moore Elliott of Tickfaw, LA; two daughters, Nicole Garcia of Wichita Falls, TX and Margaret Ann Elliott of Tickfaw, LA; a son, Travis D. Elliott of Wichita Falls, TX; his mother, Margaret Elliott of Lambert; a sister, Carol Jean Belcher of San Antonio, TX; two brothers, Roger D. Elliott of Pope and Sidney A. Elliott of Horn Lake; and two granddaughters, Cynthia Marie Garcia and Adrianna Garcia, both of Wichita Falls, TX.
