Obituary, Nampa-Leader Herald - 8-18-1916:
MRS. EDWIN CUSHMAN PASSES TO HER REWARD

After Illness Extending Over a Year End Came Thursday Morning

After a long illness with asthma and tubercular trouble, Mrs. Eliza Cushman, wife of Edwin F Cushman, died Thursday morning at the family home at 811 Eleventh Avenue South, aged 75 years and seven months.

Though always of rather delicate constitution Mrs. Cushman enjoyed fair health until about a year ago, when she became seriously ill and a number times death seemed near. Though she rallied each time her strength gradually failed until the end. The funeral will be held from the residence Saturday morning at ten o'clock. Rev. Baker will be in charge.

Besides her husband Mrs. Cushman leaves four children of whom Charles I Cushman, Mrs. S B Shellabarger and Royal J Cushman reside here. One daughter, Mrs. Verna Bentley, resides in Oklahoma and will be unable to attend the funeral.

Mrs. Cushman joined the Methodist Church many years ago and remained a faithful member until her death. Mr. and Mrs. Cushman were married young and celebrated their golden wedding four years ago.
