Daniel A. Deady, 80, of Fort Wayne, a retired security officer, died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2002, at Courtland Health Care. The Fort Wayne native retired in 1983 from Phelps Dodge after 36 years of service. He was a member of American Legion Post 202 and a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.
Surviving are sons Daniel E. and Patrick A., both of Fort Wayne; and a daughter, Jean E. Deady of Fort Wayne. His wife, Maxine J., preceded him in death.
Services are 2 p.m. Monday at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., with calling one hour before services. Burial will be at Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials are to American Red Cross.
