Katherine Deloris Scott Wise, age 75 of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed from this life on February 23, 2011 due to a complication with Alzheimer's. Kathy was born to Erma and Ted Scott of Twin Falls, Idaho on November 24, 1935.


She graduated from Twin Falls High School in 1953 and attended the University of Idaho. Kathy married her high school sweetheart, Lowell Wise on June 20, 1954 at the First Baptist Church in Twin Falls Idaho. Katherine and her sister Betty sang at many public gatherings while they were growing up. They were known and liked by the entire community. Due to Lowell's job they were able to live in many places including: Moscow, Idaho; Whittier, California; Seattle, Washington; Oahu, Hawaii; Bartlesville, Oklahoma and Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was an active member of East Cross Methodist Church in Bartlesville, Oklahoma where she was the Choir Director for 15 years, on the Pastor of Parrish Committee, and the Hospitality Committee before moving to Tulsa.


Katherine was preceded in death by her son-in-law: Don Garloch of Claremore, Oklahoma.


She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Lowell Wise of Tulsa, Oklahoma; children: Connie Garloch of Claremore, Oklahoma; Leah and Jim Frohrip of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Amy and Jason Lowry of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Tori and Derek Martin of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and great-granddaughter: Amelia Lowry of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; sister: Betty Kleinkopf of Twin Falls, Idaho.


A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2011, 3:00 PM at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma with a private graveside on Monday, February 28, 2011, Floral Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
