Born to Delcie Henry and John Fling, Tom was adopted by Virgil Harris after Virgil and Delcie married. Tom served in the US Navy during Viet Nam and was a police officer for both Dundee and Petersbug, Michigan. He was killed in a car accident in Tennessee.
