Services for Bill W. Casey, former owner of The Billik Inn, were held at the Masonic Temple, 1431 Eagle St., with the Anchorage Masonic Lodge 221 officiating. Mr. Casey, 64, died Thursday, March 24, at his home in San Diego, Calif.
He was born July 14, 1923, in Illinois. He had lived in Anchorage for more than 30 years and was the owner and operator of The Billik Inn. He retired in 1971 and moved first to Seattle, then to San Diego.
He leaves his daughters, Rose Hatch, of Eagle River, and Nikki Casey, of Lake Stevens, Wash.; his brother, Paul Laufer, of San Diego; and two granddaughters. Burial was in the Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego. Memorials are preferred to the Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children.
