They came with William's sister and brother-in-law, Louis Eichorn and Mary Aab Eichorn, and William's younger brother, Jacob. Both Mary and William died in 1911 leaving children to care for. Louis Eichorn married Elizabeth and they raised the children in Windsor Colorado.
His young son Henry died two years later.∼Nov. 7 - Wm. Aab, the German living south of town, who was taken to Windsor hospital on Tuesday, a victim of peritonitis, , died Wednesday afternoon. He was ill only 48 hours. The deceased was only 34 years old and leaves a wife and 6 children. The funeral services were conducted from the German church Saturday morning. Internment is in Lakeside cemetery.
