A Vietnam Veteran, he was wounded by mortar shell in 1968. He was awarded Combat Infantry Badge, The Purple Heart, Expert Rifle Badge, the Vietnam Service Medal, with two bronze service stars, and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal.
He was an avid sports fans, with a great love of football, especially the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Longhorns. He was a great Father, Grandfather, Brother, and Cousin. Rest in Peace Fred, you will be greatly missed.
