Services for Robert Clarence "Bob" Taylor, 63, of Ralls will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 26, 2011, in the Ralls First Baptist Church with Rev. Don Wall and Rev. T. J. Messer officiating. Burial will follow in the Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
Bob passed away Sunday, January 23, 2011 in Lubbock. He was born June 21, 1947 in Floydada. Bob was a graduate of Petersburg High School and moved to Ralls in 1965 from Petersburg. He married Wynon Rowden April 11, 1968 in Ralls.
Bob was an ordained minister and a member of Bridge the Gap Church. He did missionary work in Mexico as well as jail and prison ministries. He was a member of GWRRA and West Texas Road Riders motorcycle club.
He is preceded in death by his father, Cecil Clarence Taylor who passed away September 26, 2010.
He is survived by his wife, Wynon Taylor of Ralls, two daughters and their husbands, Angie and Chad Edwards of Orange Grove and Tasa and Gene Buckhannon of Charleroi, PA, his mother, Lila Taylor of Lubbock, his mother-in-law, Louise Rowden of Ralls, one brother & his wife, Dave and Becky Taylor of Lubbock, two sisters, Sharon Markham of Keller and Arlene and Dave Gahl of Capistrano Beach, CA, and seven grandchildren, Ashley, Jessica, Brittany, Ethan, Justin, Lauren and Austin.
Visitation of family and friends will be held from 5-6 PM Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at Adams Funeral Home in Ralls.
