Von F. Baker, 86 year old resident of Route 1, Bedford (Williams Road), and a former owner and operator of the Model Shoe Store on the west side of the square here, died at 9:15 a.m. Saturday at his home.  He had been in failing health two years.
   He was born in Bedford on June 23, 1882 to John L. and Lena Kline Baker.  He married Glenda Sears and she preceded him in death on April 1966.   Survivors include one son, George Von Baker, at home, one sister, Mrs. Gertrude Owens, Cincinnati, Ohio; one brother, John L. Baker, Bedford and several nieces and nephews, and cousins.  Two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.   Mr. Baker was a member of Bedford and an honorary life member of Bedford Elks Lodge No. 826.   Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Ferguson - Lee Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Tharp officiating.  Burial will be in the Green Hill Cemetery.   Friends may call at any time at the Ferguson - Lee Funeral Home.
