1956 - 2011

Glen Scott Hopper, 54, of Ironton, passed away Monday, January 10, 2011, at his residence.

The Ironton, Ohio native was born January 23, 1956, the son of the late Glen Leslie and Betty Lou Scott Hopper.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Carolyn Daniels Hopper, whom he married December 30, 1983, by Rev. James Cremeans.

Scott was a 1974 graduate of Rock Hill High School. He was a former owner/operator of Reo Trucking Company, a former swap meet director for the Super Chevy Show and a member of the Carpenters Local 472. He was a member of the Bass Anglers Sportsman Society, a former Volunteer Firefighter, loved four wheeling, fishing and hunting.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by, two sons, Andrew Scott Hopper and Stephen Nathaniel Hopper both of Ironton, a daughter, Kara Danielle Hopper of Ironton,
three brothers, and a sister-in-law, Noah Dean Hopper of Ironton, Tony Lee Hopper of Hanging Rock and Carl Douglas and Lynn Hopper of Ironton.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Tracy Brammer Funeral Home, 518 South Sixth Street, Ironton, Ohio with Rev. Leon Dalton officiating. Burial will follow in Haverhill Cemetery.

Friends may call Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
