Almoth Petri
JACKSONVILLE — Graveside services for Almoth E. Petri, 85, of Jacksonville, formerly of the Pert community, were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, at Neches City Cemetery with the Rev. Theo Johnson officiating.
Burial was in Neches City Cemetery under direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home, Palestine.
Mrs. Petri died Sunday, Dec. 26, in a Jacksonville hospital.
She was born Nov. 18, 1919, in Brownwood to the late Ike Jefferson and Rose Bethel Wright Ward.
Mrs. Petri was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church of Neches.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frazier Fred Petri; and brothers Jim Ward and Virgil Ward.
Survivors include a son, Spencer Petri of Pert; a sister, Sue Carroll Green of Jacksonville.
