Elizabeth Ann Davis was the daughter of John Davis and Susan Patterson of the Pickens District of South Carolina. She was my great grandmother, the mother of my grandmother, Mary Amanda Pickering Sanders. John and Susan had at least ten children. Some of their descendants continue to live in Pickens, Oconee, and Seneca counties in South Carolina; others can be found in Henderson, Navarro, and Anderson counties in Texas. Two of the children moved to California.
