O. G. Bottom age 70, of Gallatin, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2010. Funeral service will be today, Wednesday, November 24 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home with Reverend Gene Skaggs officiating. Burial will follow in Sumner Memorial Gardens with Marty Bottom, Charles Leath, Charlie Leath, William Stewart, Jr., Josh Moses, and Stuart Skaggs serving as pallbearers. Remaining visitation is today, 9:00 a.m. until time of service. O. G. was born in Franklin, KY, son of the late Elbert J. Bottom and Ruth Gentry Bottom. He is survived by his wife Billie Ann Bottom of Gallatin; three children Pam Skaggs and husband Gene of Gallatin, Mark Bottom and wife Lisa of Hartsville and Betsy Bottom of Gallatin; five grandchildren Hope Skaggs Moses and husband Josh, Stuart Skaggs and wife Elizabeth, Marty Bottom, Paiton Bottom and River Bottom.
