Elizabeth Isabella "Belle" (Morrison) Clark Wristen was the first born child to William Feimster Morrison [c1822–c1877] and Jerusha Caroline (Feimster) Morrison [c1825-c1870]. It is believed her parents were distant cousins. Her parents had five girls all together. After her mother died, her father moved to Virginia and married second to Susan P. Quesenbury. This union bore two children, the half-siblings to Isabella. Shortly after her father and step-mother's deaths, Isabella took in her two younger orphaned siblings. She was living in North Carolina and was married to Samuel W. Clark. The family appears on the 1880 Census in Clines, Catawba, North Carolina. Of note: Isabella and her sisters born to Jerusha are mentioned in the Estate of their maternal grandfather, Abner Feimster [c1794-c1864]. They were heirs to Abner's estate in the case of their mother (Jerusha's) death, which occurred around 1877. The burial locations of her mother Jerusha Caroline (Feimster) Morrison, her father William Feimster Morrison, and her step-mother Susan (Quesenbury) Morrison are unknown.

Isabella's siblings were:
- Francis L. "Fannie" (Morrison) Hughes Hearne
- Mary Euphemia (Morrison) Moore
- Harriet Caroline (Morrison) Jenkins
- Margaret Kathryn "Katie" (Morrison) Watt
- Victoria E. (Morrison) Hiner Laxton
- Jack Feimster Morrison

Isabella (Morrison) Clark moved to Texas about 1881, bringing her "adopted children" (young siblings) Victoria and Jack. At this time, it's unknown if husband Samuel W. Clark came with them, and his burial location is unknown. On 23 Nov 1839, Isabella married as "Mrs. E. F. Clark" to Frank Wristen in Abilene, Taylor County, Texas. Her "adopted child" (young sister) Victoria is later seen in the home of sister Katie, and her "adopted child" (young brother) Jack is seen on the 1900 Census living with her & husband Frank Wristen, in Abilene. Of note: Frank Wristen was previously married and had grown children from his first wife. Isabella and Frank appear on the 1910 Census still living in Abilene.

Isabella passed away on 10 Jan 1912 in Abilene, Texas. She is buried in the Morrison Family plot with brother Jack Feimster Morrison and his family.
