Amber Marie Pugh of Hastings, an employee of Vermillion State Bank, died Saturday, March 6, 2004, of injuries sustained in a car accident. She was 28 years old. Mrs. Pugh was born July 16, 1975, in Hastings, the daughter of Dan and Denise (Doffing) Seleski. She graduated from Hastings High School in 1993, and married Aaron M. Pugh on Nov 8, 2002. She worked as a personal bank representative.
She loved boating with her husband and spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Dorothy Seleski.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 11, at Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home and at the church one hour before the funeral. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, March 12, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, with interment in the church cemetery. The Rev. James Perkl will officiate. Pallbearers will be Mark Doffing, Nick Doffing, Jon Jacobson, Nick Appert, Jesse Viall and Josh Seleski. Honorary pallbearers will be Jill Snyder, Kelly Harris, Adria Gahler, Lisa Collins, Holly Ficker and Bobbi Kasel.
