Parents: Edward Pompi Deason and Julia Francis Thompson.

He came from a large family 12 brothers and sisters only 6 survived. Ernest mother and father moved the family from Tuscaloosa, Alabama to Tarrant County, Texas arriving by train on December 23, 1878. Lived in northeast Tarrant County just north of the West Fork of the Trinity.

Marriage: Ernest met Allie Mae Gillentine and they married August 16 1896.

Occupation: Ernest purchased farming land with a house in Jolleyville, Williamson County, Texas around 1900. He and his brothers tried farming wheat fields. Later he and his wife moved to Oklahoma around 1909. Where he worked for Missouri Pacific Railroad for 40 years.
