Ora Lee Taylor
88, of 180 High Street; Calhoun, Kentucky died Sunday, November 28, 2010 at the Owensboro Medical Health System in Owensboro. Ora Lee Conrad was born March 27, 1922 in Daviess County, Kentucky to the late Walter and Minie Hale Conrad and was married to Lucian Taylor on December 24, 1936. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. Ora Lee loved both her family and neighbors. In addition to her parents, Ora Lee was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Lucian Taylor, who died September 24, 1991; by a son, Delbert Lee Taylor; by a daughter-in-law, Melba Jean Taylor; by a great great grandson, Adam Taylor; and by a brother, Sammy Conrad.
Survivors include two sons, Lucian Earl Taylor and his wife, Virginia Merle of Beech Grove and George C. Taylor and his wife, Donna Wayne of Newburgh; a daughter, Donna Sue Isbell and her husband, David of Philpot; 7 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; three brothers, Walter Earl Conrad of Calhoun, Bobby Conrad of Rumsey, and Thomas "Bully" Conrad of Beech Grove; and five sisters, Gertrude Potts of Owensboro, Eva Bell Revlett of Bremen, Dorothy Hill of Livermore, Wanda Gallos of North Carolina, and June Young of Arizona.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with the Rev. Pete Leach officiating. Burial will be in the Calhoun Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with the Taylor Family from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday and from 10:00 A.M. until time of services Wednesday at Musters in Calhoun.
