Burt passed away on Friday September 10th from injuries sustained in an automobile accident two weeks previously. He had been in El Camino Hospital in Mountain View for a short time before being transferred to a hospital in San Francisco.
Burt graduated from Buscher High School in Santa Clara in June and planned to attend West Valley College.
He was the son of Harry Rivera of Santa Clara and Tracy Olah of Clear Lake. Brother of Sandra Gouveia, Pat Rivera lll, Doug Rivera, all of Santa Clara, and Ronald Rivera of San Jose.
