Mr. Workinger was a charter member of Laurel Fire Company and the York County Farm Bureau. Richard was a long time dairy farmer prior to his retirement in 1999. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and friends.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Workinger is survived by two sons, Bryan E. Workinger and his wife, Yvonne, of Windsor, and Todd R. Workinger of Fairfield, N.J.; and two grandchildren, Levi and Canyon. He is also survived by two sisters, Mabel Warner of New Park, and Ruth Hill and her husband, Harry of Aston. Mr. Workinger was predeceased by two sisters, Louise and Helen Warner; and a brother, Robert Brown.
A graveside service to celebrate the life of Mr. Workinger will be held at the Windsor Cemetery, Windsor.
