Ann Edman, 69, of Carmi, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at 8:45 a.m. at her residence in Carmi. She was born May 15, 1941 in Harrisburg, IL, the daughter of Harry Eugene and Martha Lee (Klum) Turner. She married Donald Ray Edman January 13, 1967 and he preceded her in death July 10, 1990. She was a homemaker, a member of St. Polycarp Catholic Church in Carmi and the American Legion Auxiliary. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Gary Ballard of Carmi; a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Eugene "Bub" and Linda Edman of Perigould, AR; five grandchildren, Tessa (Greg) Thompson, Gary Wayne (Michelle) Prosise, Danielle (Bradley) Farmer, Jon (Chandra)Ballard, and Daniel (Niki) Ballard; and 3 great-grandchildren, Scotty and Austin and Lily Ballard . She was preceded in death by her parents. Graveside Funeral Services and burial will be Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at the North Maple Ridge Cemetery in Carmi with the Rev. Father Stephen Rudolphi officiating. Friends may call at the Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi from 2 pm until 2:30pm.
