Virgina Hartley

MIDDLEPORT - Virginia Vititoe Hartley, 82, Middleport, died Friday, Oct. 2, 1992 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.

Born Aug. 7, 1910 in Columbus, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Carrie Lucille Jones Overturf.

She was a member of the Full Gospel Lighthouse Church in Pomeroy, and she was a minister of the gospel in apostolic faith in the immediate area for many years.

She is survived by a daughter, Doris Pooler, Taylorsville, Ky.; a sister, Fanchon Overturf, Columbus; two brothers, Gerald Overturf, Rutland, and Walter Shy, Columbus; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Elijah Vititoe in 1974, and her second husband, Robert Hartley in 1980; and two brothers, Johnny and Francis Overturf.

Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Fisher Funeral Home in Middleport with Pastor Roy Hunter officiating. Burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery in Cheshire.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
