Betty Louise Adams, age 79, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2011, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

She was born on August 1, 1932, in Honey Grove, Texas, to Junot and Ruth (Balridge) McKee. On September 15, 1954, she was united in marriage to Elbert Lynn Adams in Gustine. He preceded her in death on December 21, 2005. Betty was a teacher.

She is survived by two daughters, Amy Adams of Brownwood, and Nancy Townley and husband Bill of Seymour; four grandchildren, Ryan Adams, Travis Adams, Natalie Stary, and Brandon Townley; two great-grandchildren, Major Townley and Emma Stary; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family will have lunch at the First Baptist Church of Gustine at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, November 9, 2011.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at the First Baptist Church of Gustine with Rev. Zack Harrel officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Gustine. Comanche Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
