Jack served his country in W.W.II. He enlisted at Fort Snelling, MN. in the European Theater of Operations. He fought in the battles of Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, and Central Europe. Medals won were; European, African, Middle Eastern Theater, Lapel Button, 2 Overseas Bars, Good Conduct, Purple Heart, Bronze Star, and American Theater Service.
Jack was cremated and his cremains were scattered on the dessert floor along the Colorado River near his home.
