She was born on the White Homestead on the Leon River North of Hamilton, the daughter of George Walker White and Nola Beth Thompson. She is the granddaughter of Alexander Perry White, the great-granddaughter of John S. White and the niece of Dal and Ryder White, all longtime residents of Hamilton County.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Olen Brown; a son Eugene; a sister, Vilot Short and a brother, Norman Glenn White.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Albert; a son, Danny Brown; two daughters, Janice Deustch, Janet Kirk, 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
