Larry Ray Wingate, II passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at the age of 46 years and 11 days. He was born September 24, 1964 to Larry and Julia M. (Mahan) Wingate. He grew up in the Midwest City area where he obtained an Associate's Degree from Rose State. He furthered his education at the University of Oklahoma where he was active in College of Law. Larry Ray had several different jobs and hobbies including: Jani-King franchisee, mgr. of KFC, counselor at Resthaven Memory Gardens, cooking, fishing and traveling. He was a very generous and warm-hearted man. He was very devoted to his niece, Ashley and nephew, Shane. Larry Ray is survived by his mother and father; brother and sister-in-law, Bryan and Christy Wingate; his niece and nephew; grandmother, Edith Foust; and a host of aunts, many cousins and dear friends. Services to honor Larry Ray will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 9, 2010, at Faith Community Christian Church (the corner of Reno Ave./Choctaw Rd.). Interment will follow at Little Cemetery near Seminole, OK.
